My Nightmare

I’m not sure what’s going on tonight, but it’s like unofficial wedding night between Food Network, WE, and TLC. Just in case any of you single individuals out there really want to feel like failures and/or tremendous relief that you don’t have to go through the very special kind of hell that is wedding planning yet. I’m more on the “tremendous relief” side of that equation, honestly, the wedding complex in this country terrifies me more than inspires me, but for those of you who like matrimonial porn of that sort, you are very much in luck this evening. Here’s your Sunday night TV:

7:00pm: “60 Minutes” on CBS

“America’s Funniest Home Videos” on ABC

“Football Night in America” on NBC

8:00pm: “The Amazing Race” on CBS

“Black Girls Rock” on BET

“Bridezillas” on WE. Two hour seventh season finale.

“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” on ABC

“Food Network Challenge” on Food Network. They’re making giant wedding cakes, because regular wedding cakes aren’t enough of a monstrosity as is.

“Great Migration” on National Geographic Channel. Series premiere.

“Jerseylicious” on Style. Second season fall finale.

“Nature: Braving Iraq” on PBS

“The Simpsons” on Fox. This week is the “Treehouse of Horror” episode because last week it was pre-empted by the World Series.

8:15pm: “Sunday Night Football: Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers” on NBC

8:30pm: “The Cleveland Show” on Fox

9:00pm: “Boardwalk Empire” on HBO

“Desperate Housewives” on ABC

“Dexter” on Showtime

“Family Guy” on Fox

“Fantasia For Real” on Vh1

“Great Migrations” on National Geographic

“IRT: Deadliest Roads” on History

“Kate Plus 8: Alaska, Here We Come!” on TLC. Special presentation.

“Masterpiece!: Sherlock: The Great Game” on PBS

“Mel B: It’s A Scary World” on Style

“MTV Europe Music Awards 2010” on MTV2

“The Next Iron Chef” on Food Network

“Paranormal State” on A&E

“Undercover Boss” on CBS

9:30pm: “American Dad” on Fox

“Football Wives” on VH1

“Mel B: It’s a Scary World” on Style. First season finale.

“Paranormal State” on A&E

10:00pm: “Amazing Wedding Cakes” on WE

“Bored to Death” on HBO

“CSI: Miami” on CBS

“Iron Chef America” on Food Network

“Kendra” on E! Third season premiere. Quick! Someone alert ,! His insomnia cure is back!

“Luther” on BBCA

“Psychic Kids” on A&E

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” on Bravo. New time slot. Just in case some of you need to reprogram your DVRs to catch this. I know how many rabid fans there are out in the Pajibaverse.

“William & Kate: A Royal Love Story” on TLC. This is an excellent idea because the stifling level of media attention and “fairytale love story” style narrative created for Charles and Diana was absolutely a positive thing for everyone involved. Good work, TLC.

“The Walking Dead” on AMC

“Brothers and Sisters” on ABC

10:30pm: “Eastbound and Down” on HBO. Second season finale.

“Married to Rock” on E! Series premiere.
