It’s raining today in Miami which is actually not all that out of the ordinary for an area of the world that is subtropical. In fact, about half the year here it can rain at any given moment even if it appears to be perfectly clear and sunny right up until that moment. Or sometimes even after, the experience of getting poured on while the sun is brightly shining is not unusual. The way the drivers in Miami handle rain, though, would lead you to believe that they had all recently moved here from the Sahara and didn’t actually know that water could fall from the sky. I remember something similar happening in Maryland each winter when it would snow. As I head out into the mass of insanity that is my commute, here’s you Wednesday night TV:
8:00pm: “America’s Next Top Model” on The CW
“Campus PD: Spring Break” on G4
“The Middle” on ABC
“Secrets of the Dead: The Silver Pharaoh” on PBS
“Survivor” on CBS
“Undercovers” on NBC
8:30pm: “Better With You” on ABC
“That’s Tough” on G4. G4 titles seem to be almost like the titles of shows on other networks but take a wrong turn towards the titles of shows on Cartoon Network somewhere along the line. For comparison’s sake, the show on Cartoon Network in this time block is called “Destroy Build Destroy” and if you just gave me those two titles and asked me to guess which network they were on, I’d probably get it wrong. I’m not sure what that says about G4 or Cartoon Network, I just felt like mentioning it.
9:00pm: “Criminal Minds” on CBS
“Friday Night Lights” on DirecTV
“Ghost Hunters” on SyFy
“Hellcats” on The CW
“Marijuana: A Chronic History” on History
“I’ll Do Anything” on BBCA
“Inside the NFL” on Showtime
“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” on NBC. I’ve been watching reruns of this again lately, and I love how all the obviously “ripped from the headlines” cases aren’t just content to stick with the headlines they were ripped from, the writers then take the whole thing up just another notch on the crazy scale for good measure.
“Man vs. Food” on Travel
“Modern Family” on ABC
“My Dog Ate What?” on National Geographic Wild. Series premiere. Might be more likely to get people to watch if you didn’t list the answer to that question in the episode title. For the record, one of those things is a double digit number of tampons. There does not seem to be any information on whether those were pristine or otherwise.
“Mythbusters” on Discovery
“Circus: First of May/One Ring Family” on PBS
“The Will: Family Secrets Revealed” on ID. Series premiere. They’re tackling the estate of Joan Crawford in this episode.
9:30pm: “Dog the Bounty Hunter” on A&E
“Cougar Town” on ABC
10:00pm: “In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts” on ABC
“Black Gold” on TruTV
“The Defenders” on CBS
“Food Wars” on Travel
“Harry Loves Lisa” on TV Land
“Hollywood Treasure” on SyFy
“I Love Money” on VH1
“LA Ink” on TLC. Fourth season finale.
“Law and Order: Los Angeles” on NBC
“Mutual Friends” on DirecTV. Series premiere.
“The Real World/Road Rules Challenge” on MTV
“Sci-Fi Science: Physics of the Impossible” on Science
“South Park” on Comedy Central
“Steven Seagal: Lawman” on A&E
“Storm Chasers” on Discovery
“Tailgate Warriors with Guy Fieri” on Food Network. First season finale.
“Terriers” on FX
“Top Chef Just Desserts” on Bravo
“Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns” on TBS
“What’s Eating You” on E
