Hump Day

This morning I was woken up nearly two hours before my alarm was supposed to go off in such a way that I knew I wouldn’t be able to get back to sleep in time to make it worthwhile. It’s a special kind of frustrating, realizing that you’re up too early without enough sleep but that trying to get back to sleep will only be a pointless and frustrating endeavor that will probably result in you falling back asleep 20 minutes before your alarm goes off which will just make you cranky for the rest of the day. Instead, I got up which will assure that I’m just kind of slow and tired for the rest of the day. Yay for no-win scenarios! Here’s your Wednesday night TV:

8:00pm: “The 44th Annual CMA Awards” on ABC. Three hour special presentation.

“America’s Next Top Model” on The CW

“Campus PD” on G4

“Dance Cam Slam” on VH1

“Hell’s Kitchen” on Fox

“Secrets of the Dead: Slave Ship Mutiny” on PBS

“Survivor” on CBS

“Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns” on TBS

“Undercovers” on NBC. They’re going to be running out at least two more episodes after this, even though the show’s been cancelled.

8:30pm: “That’s Tough!” on G4

“Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns” on TBS

9:00pm: “The Bee Gees: In Our Own Time” on Bio

“Criminal Minds” on CBS

“Friday Night Lights” on DirecTV

“Ghost Hunters” on SyFy

“Hellcats” on The CW

“WWII in HD” on History. Oh good, something new and different for the History channel!

“I’ll Do Anything” on BBCA

“Inside the NFL” on Showtime

“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” on NBC

“Man vs. Food” on Travel

“Most Shocking” on TruTV. 8th season premiere. I didn’t even realize these kind of shows had seasons. I figured they just sort of spread like mold whenever the producers got their hands on more footage.

“Mythbusters” on Discovery

“Circus” on PBS

“Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns” on TBS

9:30pm: “Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns” on TBS

10:00pm: “The Arrangement” on Logo

“Black Gold” on TruTV. Third season finale.

“Clean House” on Style

“The Defenders” on CBS

“Food Wars” on Travel

“Harry Loves Lisa” on TV Land. One hour first season finale. Has anybody watched this? Honestly, these two don’t seem crazy enough to have their own reality show and I mean that 100% as a compliment.

“Hollywood Treasure” on SyFy

“I Love Money” on VH1

“Law and Order: Los Angeles” on NBC

“Psych” on USA. Fifth season fall premiere.

“The Real World/Road Rules Challenge” on MTV

“Sci-Fi Science: Physics of the Impossible” on Science. Second season premiere.

“South Park” on Comedy Central

“Storm Chasers” on Discovery. The title of this episode is “Smoke Monster” which is probably just a ploy to draw in “LOST” fans. Still, you should all be sure to watch it just in case this is the venue where Abrams is choosing to unveil the new spin-off series you’re all dying for/vehemently opposed to. I bet you thought I couldn’t taunt you anymore now that your show is over, but just you wait. I’m still waiting for another reason to bust out Batmanuel one of these days.

“Terriers” on FX

“Top Chef Just Desserts” on Bravo

“Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns” on TBS

“The Ultimate Fighter” on Spike

“What’s Eating You” on E

“Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry” on ID. First season finale.

Late Night Listings

“The Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS featuring Russell Crowe, Quincy Jones, and Snoop Dogg

“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring David Spade, Christine O’Donnell, and Old 97’s

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring Chris Pine, Danica Patrick, and Blake Shelton

“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Tim Meadows and Stan Lee

“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on NBC featuring Rainn Wilson, Biz Stone & Evan Williams, Carla Gugino, and Josi

“Last Call with Carson Daly” on NBC featuring Donal Logue, Edgar Wright, and Alberta Cross

“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central featuring Mick Foley

“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring Martha Stewart

“Chelsea Lately” on E featuring Starsky & Cox, Loni Love, John Caparulo, and Ross Mathews

“Conan” on TBS featuring Jon Hamm, Charlyne Yi, and Fistful of Mercy
