When I sailed out the door this morning, rushing off to campus to get my paper printed by the time I had to turn it in after I managed to finish writing it a whole hour before it was due, I only took an apple with me and I’m hitting the point of the afternoon where I’m so hungry it’s becoming distracting. I’m trying to think of what to say about TV or Halloween or anything and all I can focus on is when I’m going to get home and what I have in my kitchen. Very poor planning on my part, but I think that’s included somewhere in the list of graduate student stereotypes that I’m contractually obligated to adhere to, somewhere below “having ramen in the pantry at all times” but above
“preferences in alcohol that you can’t afford to buy.” With that, here’s your Thursday night TV:

7:30pm: “Major League Baseball - World Series Game #2” on Fox. I completely forgot to list the first game last night and I feel like an idiot for that. My sincere apologies to the baseball fans out there.

“Florida State at NC State” on ESPN

8:00pm: “The Big Bang Theory” on CBS

“NBC Special: Scared Shrekless” on NBC

“The This Old House Hour” on PBS

“The Vampire Diaries” on The CW

8:30pm: “Cocksucker My Dad Says” on CBS

“Community” on NBC. NOTE “COMMUNITY” FANS: This is on at a special time. I’m trying to make sure you know so you don’t miss it.

9:00pm: “Halloween: The Inside Story” on Bio

“CSI: Lab Work Done In The Dark Is Questionable At Best” on CBS

“Destination Truth” on Syfy. Fourth season finale. They’re investigating zombies in Guam, apparently. Have we peaked on the zombie thing yet? Did the Sears site turn that corner or are they still in? I’m bad at keeping track of trends, I still don’t own a pair of leggings.

“The First 48” on A&E

“Grey’s Anatomy” on ABC

“The Office” on NBC

“Nikita” on NBC

“Police Women of Dallas” on TLC. Fourth season premiere.

“Project Runway” on Lifetime. Two hour eighth season finale. Damn, how many finales does this show have at the end of the season?

9:30pm: “Outsourced” on NBC

10:00pm: “Ancient Aliens” on History. Second season premiere.

“The Apprentice” on NBC

“Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files” on Syfy

“The First 48” on A&E

“Food Feuds” on Food Network

“Ghost Labs” on Discovery

“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” on FX

“Jersey Shore” on MTV. It’s a reunion special, because God knows we haven’t had enough of these people in our lives yet.

“The Mentalist” on CBS

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” on Bravo

“Private Practice” on ABC

10:30pm: “The League” on FX

Late Night Listings

“The Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS featuring Will Ferrell and Kid Cudi

“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Denzel Washington, Reed Timmer, and Corinne Bailey Rae

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring Mandy Moore, John Quinones, and Atomic Tom

“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Michael Caine

“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on NBC featuring Jason Hawes & Grant Wilson and GWAR

“Last Call with Carson Daly” on NBC featuring Ben Nemtin & Duncan Penn, Seth Gordon, and Villagers

“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring Maira Kalman

“Chelsea Lately” on E! featuring Nick Swardson, Bobby Lee, Michelle Collins, and Brad Wollack
