At Least We Can All Agree Tim Curry Has Nice Legs

Tonight is the already famous or infamous Rocky Horror Picture Show on “Glee” depending on your point of view. I’m of a mixed mind about it; “Glee” is a musical show and Rocky Horror is a musical, it makes sense as a Halloween show, if you declare everything somebody loves sacred there’d never be another cover song ever, etc. However, not everything needs to be redone. The kids who were going to discover Rocky Horror would probably manage to do it without the help of “Glee” and now when they do they’re going to have this influence already there. What do you think? When it comes to cult classics, are tributes permitted or should the original be left to it’s own life without interference? And what would you consider untouchable? On that note, here’s tonight’s TV:

8:00pm: “The Biggest Loser” on NBC

“Glee” on Fox

“The Real Story of Halloween” on History. Because the best way to approach a holiday that allows you to dress up as anything you like and demand candy from strangers is to over analyze it. Yay, nerds! (I don’t except myself from this statement.)

“Melissa and Joey” on ABC Family

“No Ordinary Family” on ABC

“Nova: The Crash of Flight 447” on PBS

9:00pm: “19 Kids and Counting” on TLC. Who wants to be Mrs.Duggar for Halloween? Tie a bunch of baby dolls together and have them trailing out from under an ugly dress. Have I mentioned lately that I’m a bad person? Because I am.

“The Bad Girls Club” on Oxygen

“Dancing With the Stars” on ABC

“Dirty Jobs” on Discovery

“Frontline” on PBS

“In Treatment” on HBO

“Millionaire Matchmaker” on Bravo

“NCIS: Los Angeles” on CBS

“Private Chefs of Beverly Hills” on Food Network

“Raising Hope” on Fox. Two new episodes back to back. I need to catch up with this on Hulu, I’ve heard a lot about it but haven’t seen it yet.

9:30pm: “Billy the Exterminator” on A&E

“In Treatment” on HBO

10:00pm: “16 and Pregnant” on MTV. Second season fall premiere.

“Auction Kings” on Discovery. Series premiere. I guess this is the way Discovery is getting around the sudden onslaught of Pawn Shop shows while appealing to that same hoarder demographic who want to believe that their piles of useless shit are worth lots of money.

“Being Terry Kennedy” on BET

“Caprica” on SyFy

“Come Dine With Me” on BBCA

“Dance Cam Slam” on Vh1. Wait, what?

“The Good Wife” on CBS

“House of Glam” on Oxygen

“I (Almost) Got Away With It” on ID. Second season premiere. The title of this episode is “Got Caught By a Cougar” which may be exaggerated but sounds sort of hilarious.

“Independent Lens: Art & Copy” on PBS

“The Little Couple” on TLC

“Mantracker” on Science

“Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time” on Comedy Central

“Parenthood” on NBC

“Parking Wars” on A&E

“Rehab: Party at the Hard Rock Hotel” on TruTV

“Sons of Anarchy” on FX

“Detroit 187” on ABC

10:30pm: “Auction Kings” on Discovery

“Parking Wars” on A&E

Late Night Listings

“The Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS featuring Taylor Swift and Seth Meyers

“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Robert Downey Jr., Paula Deen, Jamey Johnson

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring John Stamos, the latest “Dancing With the Stars” castoff and Donavon Frankenreiter

“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Danny DeVito, Brie Larson and Henry Cho

“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on NBC featuring Joan Rivers, Juliette Lewis and Underworld

“Last Call with Carson Daly” on NBC featuring Jim Breuer, Black Dub and She & Him

“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central featuring Sen. Ted Kaufman

“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring Gary Wills

“Chelsea Lately” on E! featuring Milla Jovovich, Gary Valentine, Chris Farnjola and Josh Wolf
