There are weeks that I can get through with relative ease and then there are weeks like this week where I’m already looking forward to the weekend, but at the same time eyeing that pile of stuff that NEEDS to get done before Friday. I hate that pile, that pile can go jump off a cliff for all I care but it’s there and it has to be dealt with otherwise next week will be WORSE and next week I need to be focusing on getting ready for Halloween so I have to get it done. And then I can get to Saturday and sleep for 16 hours like a cat and it will be absolutely glorious. The point of this is I don’t have anything particularly insightful or entertaining to share with you tonight so here’s your TV:
7:30pm: “Fox Sports Special: NLCS Game #4” on Fox
8:00pm: “America’s Next Top Model” on The CW. Apparently, Paulina Porizkova who judged this show briefly has said that it’s absolutely the worst way to pursue a career in modeling. Still a great way to kick off a career in fame-whoredom, though.
“The Middle” on ABC
“Michael Feinstein’s American Songbook” on PBS
“Survivor” on CBS
“Undercovers” on NBC
8:30pm: “Better With You” on ABC
9:00pm: “Nightmare on Elm Street: The Inside Story Part 1” on Bio
“Criminal Minds” on CBS
“I Am Alive: Surviving the Andes Plane Crash” on History. Isn’t this the one where the survivors snacked on their dead buddies? And didn’t it happen like thirty years ago? This kind of reminds me of how I opened CNN this morning and saw references to Anita Hill and Clarence Thomas and had to check and make sure I hadn’t somehow stumbled into a wormhole. I’m gullible in the mornings, shut up.
“Inside the NFL” on Showtime
“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” on NBC
“Man v. Food” on Travel. They’re in Ann Arbor this week.
“Modern Family” on ABC
“Mythbusters” on Discovery. I think this is the episode with President Obama on it, which could be kinda cool. I guess. I’m really not sure why he’s on the show so it’s hard for me to judge whether to be interested or not.
“A Broadway Celebration: In Performance at The White House” on PBS
9:30pm: “Dog the Bounty Hunter” on A&E
“Ma’s Roadhouse” on TruTV
“Cougar Town” on ABC
10:00pm: “Black Gold” on TruTV
“Changing Lanes” on BET. First season finale.
“The Defenders” on CBS
“Food Wars” on Travel. They’re in Omaha doing steaks.
“Harry Loves Lisa” on TV Land
“I Love Money” on VH1
“LA Ink” on TLC
“Law and Order: Los Angeles” on NBC
“The Real World/Road Rules Challenge” on MTV
“Sci-Fi Science: Physics of the Impossible” on Science
“South Park” on Comedy Central
“Steven Seagal: Lawman” on A&E
“Storm Chasers” on Discovery
“Terriers” on FX
“Top Chef” on Bravo
“What’s Eating You” on E!
“The Whole Truth” on ABC
10:30pm: “Ugly Americans” on Comedy Central
Late Night TV Listings
“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring Jenny McCarthy, Ron Artest, and Die Antwoord
“Chelsea Lately” on E! featuring Monica Potter, Donnell Rawlings, Whitney Cummings and John Caparulo
