Before we get to the television highlights, one last reminder that tomorrow — at 3 p.m. EST — is the second installment of the Pajiba Movie Club. The movie is Night of the Living Dead.
Also, I think I’m just going to hit just the highlights from now on, instead of everything that’s on network television. It’ll give y’all something to bitch about when I leave something out. Like “Accidentally on Purpose”.
8:00
— “Heroes” on NBC. Who is still watching this show? And how’s it going so far?
— “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC. Terrible show, but it’s almost worth it for Dan’s phenomenal recaps.
— “House” on Fox.
— “How I Met Your Mother” on CBS. So far so good this season.
8:30
— Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings. I know that Brett Favre isn’t that popular anymore, and I’m not a particularly big fan of either team. But damn: I cannot wait for this game. Vikings 23, Packers 20. Ryan Grant gets shut down, and Favre has only a mediocre night. Adrian Peterson wins it for the Vikes.
9:00
— “Outrage” on HBO. This actually looks like a compelling documentary — it’s about self-hating closeted gay politicians who vote against gay interests. The doc also makes the unsurprising assertion that Florida Governor Charlie Crist is gay. No? Really?
— “Trauma” on NBC. Gonna give this a second shot to see if it lives up to the first episode.
9:30
— “The Big Bang Theory” on CBS. Rubble44, who won last weeks’ Eloquent Eloquence, requested a season of “Big Bang Theory” as his reward. Maybe it’s better than I give it credit for. Maybe I’ll check out another episode. Or maybe Rubble44 should be stripped of his title.
10:00
— “Castle” on ABC.
That’s it.
