It’s October 21st, 2015; the future has finally arrived.
Thirty years (!!!) after its release, it’s the Back to the Future day that Marty McFly traveled to a world with hoverboards and flying cars, neither of which — despite claims of success — are in our hot hands yet. (WTF, world?) To commemorate the magic, instead of one of those megacool items
we get…
A TOYOTA COMMERCIAL!
Okay, it’s not as bad as it sounds, because it does feature Marty (Michael J. Fox) and Doc (Christopher Lloyd) back together again, and a host of cool location shots you’ll immediately recognize. There’s also a “scientist” running around collecting trash to show us the one kinda-sorta futuristic car they’ve come up with. So yeah, it’s a Toyota commercial, but I guess it has some cool stuff (*kicks rock*):
Moreover, Christopher Lloyd’s Doc Brown would like to remind us all that our future hasn’t been written yet, but it’s be really swell if our future included the purchase of a Back to the Future trilogy box set, now on Blu Ray!
Happy BttF day, y’all; here’s hoping your junker miraculously turns into a time machine.
