Hot Topic's New Mass-Produced Marvel Cosplay Is So Much Cooler Than It Has Any Right To Be

I’m having a lot of conflicting feelings about Hot Topic right now, and I kind of hate myself for it. As a grown-ass woman who values quality craftsmanship, I know I’m not supposed to like this store. But then I saw their new Marvel line, and it’s stirring up a lot of confusion. This is right on the heels of their Orphan Black line that lets you basically play dress-up as your favorite clone, which also made me very uneasy at my level of fawning. (I wanna wear the Allison dress with the Helena jacket, just to confuse everyone, including myself.) The cool thing about the Marvel line is that it’s a partnership with Her Universe, which is basically an amazing geek Modcloth. So while Hot Topic may just be in this for that sweet, sweet geek cash, the spirit behind the line comes from a place of true nerd love.

Plus, it’s really f*cking pretty, you guys.

Look, I know it would fall apart after like a day, and no, I have no idea where I would even wear it, but THAT BLACK WIDOW DRESS WILL BE MINE.
