While one-sided Twitter rants are usually not the most respectable method of conversation, Trump has been laying the groundwork for a near-future rejection of any sort of moderator. So while under normal circumstances, 20 unanswered questions in a row would be the work of Kanye or your crazy ex, we find them totally valid and perfectly acceptable in this case.
The questions specifically come in response to a Newsweek article questioning how “the Trump organization’s business ties could upend U.S. national security.” The article has many questions, beginning with,
If Donald Trump is elected president, will he and his family permanently sever all connections to the Trump Organization, a sprawling business empire that has spread a secretive financial web across the world? Or will Trump instead choose to be the most conflicted president in American history, one whose business interests will constantly jeopardize the security of the United States?
Given Trump’s aversion to any sort of genuine conversation, here’s everything Clinton would presumably love to talk about in the debates Trump is already trying to indirectly back out of. Are there better mediums for serious political conversations than Twitter? Yes, duh, of course. And when Trump actually engages in those settings, then we can criticize Clinton for over-extending her social media public shaming hand. If/when/definitely never that happens.
In the meantime, read these questions closely. Give them their due attention. Because it may be the only time you actually hear them asked.
In light of @kurteichenwald's report on the Trump Organization's dangerous ties, here are 20 questions that Trump needs to answer—now.
