Dan Aykroyd Does a Terrible James Brown Impression

Dan Aykroyd was on the Tonight Show with Bobby Rush to promote the James Brown biopic, Get On Up, that’s coming out in August. Dan Aykroyd is a talented man, but he clearly cannot do a decent James Brown impersonation. It’s a bit reminiscent of my grandfather’s version, honestly. On the other hand, Jimmy Fallon tries as well, because James Brown is one of those people you clearly can’t talk about with at least trying to capture some of his energy or mannerisms because otherwise the story won’t make sense. All of the impressions are terrible, yet also kind of hilarious in their own right:
