Creationist Assh*le Defends Josh Duggar, Says Molesting Kids Is Fine Because of Evolution

Look, this story isn’t getting any less terrible. So, screw it, I’m just going to ride this terrible wave until it sinks me.

There’s a site called Creation Today run by Eric Hovind. Here’s what this fucker has to say.

In reality, it is evolutionists who apply a double standard. If evolution is true, then there is no absolute right and wrong. If evolution is true, Josh should not have admitted his faults over a decade ago because what one evolved bag of molecules does to another bag of molecules just doesn’t really matter. If evolution is true, there is no ultimate Judge who will hold every man, woman, and child responsible for their actions. And if evolution is true, you will not give an account for every idle word you speak.

A good punishment for Josh Duggar?

Since as a young teen, Josh fondled girls, which could damage their trust of men, which could damage their future marriage, which could damage their future family, we should make Josh Duggar work the rest of his life to help families stay together and help them recognize how twisted the world is and how God offers instruction on how to live righteously! He should be forced to push faith, family and freedom in the public showing the Christian worldview has the answers.

We should force him to get a job at the Family Research Council* whose mission is “to advance faith, family and freedom in public policy and the culture from a Christian worldview.”

That would be a great punishment!

But wait! He already asked forgiveness, went to the authorities, went through counseling, and was honest and open about his sin to those who needed to know. He already served “his punishment.”

No. No he didn’t go through counseling. He built a goddamn deck or something with some family bro.

But, really, who are the victims here? The actual victims? HEAVENS NO—IT IS THE CHRISTIANS.

Think for just a moment about how the media typically sees things.

Lust - Praised
Abortion - Praised
Homosexual Behavior - Praised
Pornography - Praised
Fornication - Praised
Confession, Judgment & Forgiveness - Condemned.

I am not convinced that the media is interested in seeing justice. I am convinced that they are only interested in a story that will sell and make Christianity look bad.

Yep. That’s exactly what’s happening here. No one actually cares that anyone was molested or that this clownshoe got so away with it for so long. It’s just the war on Christians as always. A war I—a born and raised Catholic who attended 13 years of Catholic school—am taking part in.

To double down on this, he quoted The Blaze.

YEP. THEY SURE ARE. THE PEOPLE OUTRAGED BY THIS ARE THE PROBLEM. NOT THE GUY WHO MOLESTED CHILDREN OR THE FAMILY WHO COVERED IT UP OR THE OPPORTUNISTIC MONSTERS USING IT TO FURTHER THEIR ENTIRELY FABRICATED WAR ON CHRISTIANITY AGENDA. YOU’VE GOT US FIGURED OUT.
