Why is Comedy Central So Good At Sketch Comedy Shows?

Fresh Off the Boat on ABC at 8:00pm ET. First season finale. No word on renewal yet, so if you’re a fan keep your fingers crossed.

iZombie on The CW at 9:00pm ET.

Last Days of the Nazis on History at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. I don’t think I will ever understand the subset of people who find everything to do with the Nazis so completely and thoroughly captivating that they basically keep the History channel in business. It’s important to know about them, and teach about them in history class so we can see what evil looks like when it is carried out by normal people, but there’s like a weird reverence that some people seem to have that’s just incredibly off-putting. Or maybe I just read Apt Pupil way too young and it made me skittish of that particular morbid hobby, whatever.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD on ABC at 9:00pm ET.

Inside Amy Schumer on Comedy Central at 10:30pm ET. Third season premiere. Wooooo!

Genevieve Burgess is glad that Comedy Central is snatching up comedy talent, because it makes it easier to ignore Saturday Night Live.
