Who's Ready to Ugly Cry Themselves to Sleep?
Project Runway on Lifetime at 9:00pm ET. 14th season premiere.
Fox News Republican Presidential Primary Debates on Fox News at 9:00pm ET. This whole circus actually starts at 5pm, but the bit you all want to watch is at 9pm.
Rectify on Sundance at 10:00pm ET.
Under the Dome on CBS at 10:00pm ET. Guess they’re still under that dome.
The Daily Show on Comedy Central at 11:00pm ET. Series finale. While I was on vacation last week, I was in Europe with my younger sister who is currently doing the “young, broke, American teenager in Europe” thing for a few weeks. We were on a train somewhere, I think Vienna, and got to talking about The Daily Show. She gets back tomorrow, and she looked at me with horror and said “By the time I’m back in America, The Daily Show will be OVER!” This caused her genuine despair while she was in the process of experiencing the kind of trip many people dream about. I reminded her that the show wasn’t ending, just Jon Stewart’s time on it, but I think she’s right. Trevor Noah’s The Daily Show will be a very different animal, and it’s just best to accept that the show is ending tonight. Make sure you have your tissues handy, I expect we’ll all need them early and often.
Genevieve Burgess would like to thank Jon Stewart for his commitment to fake news, which got her through more than a few rough times in high school, college, graduate school, and real adult life. His intelligence, humor, and giggles will be missed.
