Game of Thrones on HBO at 9:00pm ET. Tonight’s episode is “The High Sparrow” so we’ll be meeting Jonathan Pryce’s character for the first time.
The Good Wife on CBS at 9:00pm ET.
Happyish on Showtime at 9:30pm ET. Series premiere. I know all of you have been clamoring for more series about the angst of middle aged, upper class white dudes, so here one is! Starring Steve Coogan as Thom, an advertising executive whose comfortable life is threatened by new, younger bosses who want to change the way his company does things. I’m not saying this couldn’t be an interesting storyline, but perhaps they could have waited until Mad Men was cold in the ground before going to that particular well again.
Mad Men on AMC at 10:00pm ET. Speaking of Mad Men, this is the penultimate episode of the series, so there’s only about two hours left of time to wrap up the Don Draper story. What’s the over/under on the ending actually satisfying most fans? EDIT: Yes, I now realize that there are three more episodes not one. For some reason I thought the season was 12 episodes, probably because 14 episodes is such a weird number.
Wolf Hall on PBS at 10:00pm ET.
Genevieve Burgess knows that every day, everyone is fighting a war that we know nothing about but that doesn’t make it an interesting war.
