The Great Christmas Light Fight on ABC at 8:00pm ET. Third season finale.

Bolshoi Babylon on HBO at 9:00pm ET. Man, if you love the high-stakes world of international professional ballet and scandals than this is for you! All, like, two dozen of you out there.

Secret Earth: Yellowstone Supervolcano on History at 9:00pm ET. I’m really interested in this choice of programming so close to the holiday, but I guess it could be comforting to some people; if you’re staring down the barrel of terrible family interactions, a last trip to the mall, or a very lonely week for whatever reason, you can be comforted that there’s a massive volcano under Yellowstone that could go ANY MINUTE NOW. And then everyone’s holiday will be ruined! Silver lining!

Major Crimes on TNT at 9:00pm ET. Fourth season fall finale.

PBS Special: Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Featuring Santino Fontana and the Sesame Street Muppets on PBS at 9:00pm ET. Ah, my very favorite someone over at PBS still hasn’t learned how titles work. Stay golden, buddy. Anyway, maybe after the performance some of the muppets can have a talk with the Mormons about how to treat children with kindness and compassion no matter who their parents are, but that might be asking a bit much of the Mormons.
