Gotham: Mad City on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Third season premiere. As is my custom, this is the last time you’ll see the subtitle for this season. Enjoy it while you can.

The Voice on NBC at 8:00pm ET. 11th season premiere.

Monday Night Football: Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears on ESPN at 8:15pm ET.

Kevin Can Wait on CBS at 8:31pm ET. Series premiere. This is a new sitcom about a retired cop who finds out that staying home with his wife and kids is more challenging than he thought it’d be. Starring Kevin James doing his best bumbling Long Island guy again.

The Good Place on NBC at 10:00pm ET. One-hour series premiere. I’m not sure if they’re avoiding using the term “Heaven” to avoid angry letters from militant atheists or to avoid angry letters from militant Christians. I know which there are more of, but I also know which ones are more loudly represented on the internet, so it really is a toss up. Anyway, Kristen Bell is back on TV and that’s a good thing.
