We Can Use 'Queen in the North' for Other Shows, Right?

Sleigh Bells Ring: Countdown to Christmas on Hallmark at 8:00pm ET. Original telefilm. It’s a good thing cable has so many channels so they can keep all of the people who exclusively show up in terrible Christmas movies booked solid! I don’t watch these sorts of things unless forced to, but when I am forced to my favorite game is to point out all the scenes that were obviously filmed in the middle of summer.

Shameless on Showtime at 9:00pm ET. Seventh season finale. And now the polar opposite of those shiny, saccharine Christmas movie emotions.

A Christmas to Remember on HMC at 9:00pm ET.

The Hollow Crown: Henry IV, Part 2 on PBS at 9:00pm ET. This is the one where Sophie Okonedo plays Queen Margaret and pisses off a whole lot of people who apparently have nothing else in their lives to be concerned about and probably weren’t the target audience anyway. Cumberbatch also shows up, but his start turn really shows up on Christmas when they’re airing the Richard III segment.

Elementary on CBS at 10:30pm ET. Fifth season fall finale.
