Bones on Fox at 8:00pm ET. I watched last week to make sure this show still has the dumbest smart people on TV, and it does! So wonderful to know that there’s still some things you can count on.

The Blacklist on NBC at 9:00pm ET.

8 Minutes on A&E at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is a new reality series that is supposed to be about helping sex trafficking victims escape to safety. There’s some controversy about how they’re determining that the people they’re approaching are actual victims of sex trafficking and not just individuals choosing to be sex workers for their own reasons. But if there’s any genre that I’d trust to handle a sensitive subject like sex trafficking and prostitution with a calm, informed manner, it is most definitely not reality television.

Archer on FX at 10:00pm ET. Sixth season finale.

Lip Sync Battle on Spike TV at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is the lip sync battle segment from Jimmy Fallon’s show spun off to its own series. I’m really OK with this, because Fallon has a lot of amusing bits that I always feel would be far more amusing with less Fallon mugging. This first episode does feature him, but it also features Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who has enough weaponized charm to make up for an army of Jimmy Fallons. I understand that The Rock will, at the very least, be performing Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”

Genevieve Burgess is basically in favor of all things The Rock.
