TV Holidays, Better Late Than Never?
Community on NBC at 8:00pm ET.
Parks and Recreation on NBC at 8:30pm ET. The episode title is “Galentine’s Day” so they’re only a little over a month late! I mean, yes, I know the Olympics were happening over Valentine’s day (duh, what do you think I was doing?) but I always think it’s a bit silly when they do holiday episodes that they know they won’t be able to air on or anywhere near the actual holiday. Feels weird.
The Red Road on Sundance at 9:00pm ET. Right. This. I need to get around to this but so far this month I watched all of Les Revenants and True Detective while reading Marisha Pessl’s Night Film so I’m up to my eyeballs in gritty crime and mysterious dead people. I’ll circle back around to this after a course of SSRIs or a Disney binge, whichever comes first. Also, I need to put some kind of alert on my phone or email to actively seek out more lighthearted entertainment options in the late winter/early spring because it’s not like I need more reasons that I should just stay in bed forever or at least until May.
Scandal on ABC at 10:00pm ET. Or this. This also works as a kind of ridiculous palette cleanser.
Vikings on History at 10:00pm ET.
Genevieve Burgess is very much looking forward to a 10 day forecast with no snow or freezing temperatures in it. Someday.
