Time to Investigate How This Show Has Survived

Bones on Fox at 8:00pm ET. 11th season premiere. It was my understanding that the show was kind of maybe supposed to end at the end of last season and then… didn’t. Anyway, I’ve seen two versions of promos for this, one that’s all “Bones IS BACK GUYS, ISN’T IT GREAT!” and one that’s like “Booth might be dead, and it’s very sad.” and so I have no idea what the tone of this is going to be. I don’t think anyone involved in making it did either. But seriously, has there been any other show that CAME BACK from that Friday night “going to a nice farm upstate” time slot? It’s frankly bewildering and kind of impressive.

The Blacklist on NBC at 9:00pm ET.

Sleepy Hollow on Fox at 9:00pm ET. Third season premiere.

How To Get Away With Murder on ABC at 10:00pm ET. Probably everyone else will tell you that the highlight of the last episode was the cliffhanger where a main character appeared to be mortally wounded two months in the future from the show’s present. But really it was when Famke Janssen and Viola Davis made out. Because why not, right?

Review on Comedy Central at 10:00pm ET. Second season finale. I have tried watching this show because a lot of people and writers I like think it’s the best thing on TV. It is one of those shows, like the very early episodes of the American version of The Office where I cringe so hard I actually pull something. Or just hide behind my couch so I don’t have to look directly at it.
