This Is Now An American Movie Classic

Glee on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Fifth season spring premiere.

About a Boy on NBC at 9:01pm ET. One of the many ways NBC ruined the Olympics this year was by constantly promoting both this and the Growing Up Fisher sitcom. And while I feel generally positive feelings towards both the film About a Boy and JK Simmons those positive feelings are not being transferred to these two shows due entirely to the advertising barrage I’ve endured over the last two weeks.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine on Fox at 9:30pm ET.

Game of Arms on AMC at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. You know that television series about competitive arm wrestling you’ve all been waiting for? It’s finally here! As the Modern American Entertainment Complex continues to mine the ’80s for ideas. As something made in the ’80s I suppose I should be flattered, but I hear that most things that originated in that decade are best left there.

Mind Games on ABC at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. Starring Steve Zahn and Christian Slater! That’s about the only thing I know about this.

Genevieve Burgess hates feeling forced into seeing new shows so “special premieres” following events she had enjoyed watching earn a nearly automatic “Nope!” every time.
