Things Both Are and Aren't Heating Up in Fargo
3 1/2 Minutes, Ten Bullets on HBO at 9:00pm ET. This is a documentary about the murder of 17 year old Jordan Davis, who was killed by Michael Dunn at a gas station after the two exchanged angry words about the volume of Davis’s music. Dunn was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the shooting.
Saints & Strangers on National Geographic Channel at 9:00pm ET. Original mini-series finale. I’ve seen a lot of people trying to make ironic comparisons regarding the original Thanksgiving and the attitude some people have about taking in refugees fleeing religious persecution and looking for a new country to start over in. However, given how that went for those who took in the refugees (that would be the Native Americans) perhaps that is not the BEST argument to make if you are pro-helping refugees. Just saying.
Blindspot on NBC at 10:00pm ET. First season fall finale.
Fargo on FX at 10:00pm ET. The last two episodes, this show has really turned up the intensity and I’m interested to see how it carries through to the end of the season. I keep catching myself wondering if it’s ten episodes again or if it’s ending sooner, because it’s felt like we were on the cusp of a huge finale the last two weeks.
Castle on ABC at 10:01pm ET. Eighth season fall finale.
