Dancing With the Stars on ABC at 8:00pm ET. One-hour 26th season finale. Hmm, look at that, two out of three figure skaters made it to the final round. Good luck to Josh Norman up against Tonya Harding and Adam Rippon for the trophy.

The Final Year on HBO at 8:00pm ET. 90-minute special presentation. This chronicles Barack Obama’s foreign policy team during his last year in office. That feels like something that could be very informative and upsetting at this point in time.

iZombie on The CW at 9:00pm ET.

The Terror on AMC at 9:00pm ET. First season finale. The words “first season finale” here make me nervous for several reasons. Most of those have to do with the inevitable gruesome end for so many characters we’ve come so far with (NOT YOU, MR.HICKEY) but also that it says “first season” and not “series finale.” While I’ve greatly enjoyed this season, the story is aggressively self-contained by both the story itself and actual history. I really hope there aren’t plans to spin out another season from this same event, no matter how successful this season was. But this is American TV, and I know better.

Elementary on CBS at 10:00pm ET. This has been renewed for a seventh season, so Joan and Sherlock will be coming back next year.
