ESPN Special: NFL Draft: Round 1 in Chicago on ESPN at 8:00pm ET. Oh good, it’s football season again. I know it’s just been agony waiting the last 3 1/2 months without any football news. I mean, besides the ongoing revelations that football has been scrambling the brains of its players for a while and shows no signs of taking that seriously.

Hoff the Record on AXS TV at 9:00pm ET. This is apparently a mockumentary-style series starring David Hasselhoff playing a fictionalized version of himself trying to revive his career. Apparently it has already aired in its entirety on a channel called “Dave” in the UK and is now airing on a channel in the US that sounds like a body spray for douchebags. Everything about this sounds like a bad joke taken too far.

Archer on FX at 10:00pm ET.

Orphan Black on BBCA at 10:00pm ET. I only just noticed that this has an after show also. I get that it’s probably a nice, cheap way for some of these networks to pad their schedules, but I just can’t imagine watching a show, and then immediately watching people sit around on a couch and talk about it. I like to talk about things I’ve watched, but with other people, where it’s a conversation. I suspect this will be my “damn kids, get off my lawn” opinion for the foreseeable future.
