The Casual Vacancy on HBO at 8:00pm ET. Original mini-series finale.

NFL Draft: Round 1 in Chicago on ESPN at 8:00pm ET. OH MAN, WHO’S READY TO HEAR PEOPLE READ NAMES FOR HOURS?!? Of all the things I do not understand about sports, this has to be somewhere near the top of the list. Isn’t it just as exciting to enable text alerts from ESPN and do something else with your time? All the same information without actually watching people sitting around in a room talking all night.

Grey’s Anatomy on ABC at 8:00pm ET. Back to back new episodes. Uh, spoilers ahead for those who care: there’s an online petition now to bring Derek back from the dead and I’d mock it harder, but we’re talking about a show that had a ghost/hallucination sex scene and a doctor operating on a deer, so bringing someone back from the dead actually wouldn’t be that weird. And would fit in with Derek’s messiah complex nicely.

Backstrom on Fox at 9:00pm ET. First season finale.

Louie on FX at 10:30pm ET.

Genevieve Burgess is comfortable with Grey’s Anatomy just going full soap opera on all of us. It seems like destiny.
