The Critic’s Choice Television Awards on A&E at 8:00pm ET. Someone needs to give A&E a call and tell them that it is very much not award season right now.

Game of Thrones on HBO at 9:00pm ET.

Nurse Jackie on Showtime at 9:00pm ET.

Golan the Insatiable on Fox at 10:00pm ET. Second season premiere. Always interesting when a show with a name this distinct entirely escapes my notice for its whole first season. This is a cartoon about a godlord from another dimension named Golan who befriends a teenage goth girl named Dylan. They’ve brought on new voice talent for the season, so Dylan herself will now be voiced by Aubrey Plaza, Dylan’s mom will be voiced by Maria Bamford, and Golan himself will be voiced by Rob Riggle.

Halt and Catch Fire on AMC at 10:00pm ET. Second season premiere. I am genuinely amazed that this got a second season, as they seemed really good at the whole “halt” thing but not as good at that “catch fire” or “be interesting in any way” thing.
