The First Time I've Described a Show as "Aurally Terrible"

Inside the Actor’s Studio on Bravo at 8:00pm ET. Tonight’s special guest is Sting, which seems like we’re stretching that “Actor’s” designation a bit beyond recognition.

Gracepoint on Fox at 9:00pm ET. I’ve been trying to watch this show but 1. I keep getting the sense that it’s a pale imitation of the original, which I have not yet seen because I am bad at TV, 2. David Tennant’s attempt at an American accent is fascinating though not necessarily anything I’d call “good” and 3. the sound mixing on this seems to be TERRIBLE to me. I’ll have to crank up the volume to hear people talking in the beginning of a scene, only to have to turn it down midway through the same scene because it’s suddenly too loud. Is anyone else having this problem or is this just a me/my TV thing? Because I’m not noticing it with any other shows I watch.

Project Runway on Lifetime at 9:00pm ET. 13th season finale.

Scandal on ABC at 9:00pm ET. This week I coined the name “Fitzspoiled Brat” and I will never call him anything else.

How to Get Away With Murder on ABC at 10:00pm ET.

Genevieve Burgess finds it amazing how quickly Shonda Rhimes can make her romantic heroes so thoroughly unappealing.
