Seriously, What's So Great About The Inner Solar System Anyway?

Riverdale on The CW at 8:00pm ET. I just found out there’s someone named “Hiram” on this show which is allegedly set in the present. The evidence that this is a long con/troll job of some kind keeps mounting.

The Expanse on SyFy at 9:00pm ET. I know a lot of you are fans with this, but I can’t get around the idea that Earth, Mars, and the Astroid Belt would ever have conflict with each other. Do you know how big space is? How much room is between all of those places? It’s absurd. I realize this is basically a problem with all interstellar science fiction but having it set in our own solar system really just drives home the point to me somehow. It takes like 15 minutes to even exchange radio signals with stuff on Mars and that’s only if it’s in the right place. HOW DO YOU PICK A FIGHT UNDER THOSE CONDITIONS?!? I’d probably get bored waiting for a response and forget why I was mad. But once upon a time humans picked fights via messages delivered on horseback and/or boats so I guess we’re just that awful.

The Americans on FX at 10:00pm ET.

Being Serena on HBO at 10:00pm ET.

Archer: Danger Island on FXX at 10:00pm ET.
