King in the Wilderness on HBO at 8:00pm ET.

Flipping Virgins on HGTV at 9:00pm ET. Third season premiere. I know what this title actually means but every time I see it I do a double take. That was really THE BEST title they could come up with? Really?

The Terror on AMC at 9:00pm ET.

The Crossing on ABC at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. New sci-fi series! Refugees come to a small American town, only the war they’re fleeing is 180 years in the future, and in America. Steve Zahn stars as a small town sheriff which is mighty bold of him since David Harbour basically owned that role. This SOUNDS interesting but I don’t trust major networks with high-concept sci-fi yet.

McMafia on AMC at 10:00pm ET. I figured this was about some kind of Irish mob based on the title but apparently it’s Russian mob and named after a book. This is tonight’s second installment of “that was really THE BEST title they could come up with?” because, man, really? Seems like the book was using the Mc as a shorthand for the global spread of the Russian mob but the show is focusing on one dude.
