Call the Midwife on PBS at 8:00pm ET. Seventh season finale.
Killing Eve on BBCA at 8:00pm ET.
Swettbitter on Starz at 8:00pm ET. Series premiere. Oh thank god, I’ve been getting promos for this everywhere for like the last month. That and the next show, Vida. Anyway, Sweetbitter is about a 22 year old who moves to New York, becomes a waitress, and then stumbles into the kind of hedonistic restaurant life that has already been fairly well detailed by Anthony Bourdain and other chefs of his kind. Vida looks slightly more interesting as two Mexican-American sisters return to the East Los Angeles neighborhood they were raised into learn the true story of their mother’s identity. Ads for both of these have been choppy and overly stylized, I had to look up the plots on Wikipedia instead of relying on the advertising I’ve seen, and I look forward to seeing less of them in the near future.
Westworld on HBO at 9:00pm ET.
The Last Man on Earth on Fox at 9:30pm ET. Fourth season finale. No word on if this is coming back so I can spend another season thinking to myself that there is certainly not one last man on earth in any way shape or form.
