Slowly Sliding Into The Christmas Rut
NCIS on CBS at 8:00pm ET. 13th season fall finale. We’ve hit that point in the year when even the TV I don’t really care about enough to make fun of on an especially regular basis is taking a few weeks off. It’s the worst. Hope you guys like those ridiculous Christmas movie plots I come up with, because I expect I’ll be scraping the bottom of the barrel on those by this time next week.
Manhattan on WGN at 9:00pm ET. Second season finale. This is like one of those apocryphal “good” shows that I don’t actually believe is real because I don’t believe the channel it’s on is real. I have no idea what WGN is and I find it hard to believe that with all the other really excellent TV that’s easy to find, that I should take extra time to investigate.
The Voice on NBC at 9:00pm ET. Two-hour long ninth season finale. And it’s live! I guess that means that instead of watching marriages break up through the tabloids, we’ll get to see it happen in real time? That’s what happens on this show, right? I know I’m not really the celebrity gossip person, but I seem to be hearing about The Voice and dissolving marriages a lot these last few months.
The Expanse on SyFy at 10:00pm ET. Time slot premiere.
Limitless on CBS at 10:00pm ET. First season fall finale.
