Shadowhunters on Freeform at 8:00pm ET. Third season premiere.

Fresh Off the Boat on ABC at 8:30pm ET. Fourth season finale.

Black Lightning on The CW at 9:00pm ET.

Rise on NBC at 9:01pm ET. Apparently, a central premise of this show is that a high school is putting on Spring Awakening? What school musical has the budget to license Spring Awakening? And what PTA wouldn’t be rebelling the minute they found out what the premise of that show is? And it’s not really subtle about it either; there are songs called “The Bitch of Living”, “My Junk”, “Touch Me”, “The Word of Your Body”, and “Totally Fucked.” Oh, and at least in the Broadway version of the show, the female lead has her boob out at the end of the first act. I don’t think the show is inappropriate for high schoolers, mostly it’s the licensing fees I’m hung up on.

Another Period on Comedy Central at 10:00pm ET. Two episodes tonight, and the second one is the third season finale.
