'Scandal' Showed Us How to Break a Fixer
NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament on CBS at 7:10pm ET. Forgot to mention that March Madness has officially begun. Which means brackets have gone out and people have agonized over them, only to have all their careful work undone sometime this week. Sports!
The Blacklist on NBC at 9:00pm ET.
Scandal on ABC at 9:00pm ET. So previously on Scandal they made a huge deal about Olivia’s kidnapping, and how she was held hostage by mean guys, and used to force the President into a war, and then the mean guys decided to try and sell her themselves and then they tried that AGAIN and I’m missing a few nuances here but it was a big complex plotline. We saw Liv in captivity for long enough that her hair lost its style, a big montage of her having food thrown at her, and she made at least one significant escape attempt and appeared to be punished for it. Last week we learned that that entire plotline, from abduction to safe return, happened over a total of ten days. Week and a half. I’m not saying I’m tougher than Olivia Pope, but I am saying that I’ve been camping a few times and can probably hold my chill together in the face of no showers for a little longer. Honestly, though, her dad heads up a super secret spy ring, she’s dating one member of that ring, and is the mistress of the President and NO ONE thought to give her a run down on how to behave if she were kidnapped? People are slacking over in the Scandal world.
Archer on FX at 10:00pm ET.
Vikings on History at 10:00pm ET.
Genevieve Burgess also wouldn’t make best buddies with the guy in her cell after all of five minutes too, but that’s less glaring.
