Princess Diana: Her Life, Her Death, The Truth on CBS at 8:00pm ET. Two-hour special presentation. Oh, hey, is it time to start humping this corpse for ratings? That’s not distasteful at all; I’m sure there’s a whole lot of brand-new information to cover about a woman who lived her life in the public eye from the age of 19 and died in a fairly straight forward car accident when she was 36, after years of being hounded by the media about her most personal life. Yup. Whole lot to still be learned about her. No chance we can just let her rest in peace. Or allow her children to mourn her life in their own way, especially since, in a truly touching display of emotional vulnerability, they recently revealed that they sought therapy to process their feelings about losing their mother. Clearly, the continued exploitation of her life and death in the name of advertising money is more important.
Supergirl on The CW at 8:00pm ET. Second season finale. The episode title is “Nevertheless, She Persisted.” In case you were wondering where Supergirl was coming down on all this mess, which you really shouldn’t have.
Jane the Virgin on The CW at 9:00pm ET. Third season finale.
Running Wild with Bear Grylls on NBC at 10:00pm ET. Special presentation. Tonight’s guest in sadism is Sterling K. Brown, who is wonderful. I have no idea why he’s choosing to put himself through this.
Suite Francaise on Lifetime at 10:02pm ET. Original telefilm. This was actually released in the UK back in 2015, but it’s just now coming out here. It’s got one hell of a cast for a Lifetime movie.
