Reality is Always More Interesting than Scripted, Right Guys? Guys?
Ken Burns: the Civil War on PBS at 8:00pm ET. Usually these listings are all new shows, but this looks like a repeat of the popular historical series unless Ken Burns has a NEW series on the Civil War that I’m unaware of. I’m sure you history buffs out there can set us all straight.
Face Off on SyFy at 9:00pm ET. 100th episode. And yet I’m still just a little disappointed every time that it’s not a TV adaptation of the very important John Woo film from 1997. I mean, neither Travolta or Cage are busy these days, let’s give it a shot.
Zoo on CBS at 9:00pm ET.
The Agent on Esquire at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This new series follow four real life sports agents as they advise their professional football playing clients. The description on the Esquire website references Jerry Maguire because that is definitely a movie that people associate primarily with professional sports agents and not 1. Tom Cruise 2. “You had me at hello” 3. That damned “Secret Garden” song. If Ballers is the more boring version of Entourage, this sounds like the less interesting version of Ballers.
Hollywood Game Night on NBC at 10:01pm ET.
