The Mick on Fox at 8:31pm ET. Does anyone else find it weird when young actresses ping-pong back and forth between roles above and below 18? I realize that sometimes it’s just a function of how Hollywood works, but seeing Sofia Black-D’Elia as an adult struggling with drug addiction in The Night Of and then seeing her playing a high school student in this is a bit disorienting.

Bones: The Final Chapter on Fox at 9:01pm ET.

Shooter on USA at 10:00pm ET. First season finale.

Taboo on FX at 10:00pm ET. I’m getting the sense that this is mostly style over substance, but when the style is “brooding Tom Hardy wearing excellent coats or loin cloths” I’m mostly OK with that. Waiting to see how cringey they get with the First Nations ancestry of Hardy’s character though.

Throwing Shade on TV Land at 10:30pm ET. Series premiere. Well, I think we’ve officially figured out when slang dies; when it’s common enough to be referenced on TV Land.
