Masterchef on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Fifth season premiere.

American Ninja Warrior on NBC at 9:00pm ET. Two-hour sixth season premiere.

Petals on the Wind on Lifetime at 9:00pm ET. Original telefilm. The follow up to Flowers in the Attic is airing tonight, so “incest” as a theme continues it’s domination of the TV landscape. I may be stretching the term” domination” a bit here. Anyway, all you VC Andrews fans can get together and talk out your perversions together.

The World Wars on History at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. The History Channel returns to its bread and butter: World Wars. This three part series focuses on the leaders of World War II and what they experienced in World War I. I doubt there will be any startling new insights as we’re talking about events that have been intensely studied for the last several decades, but if this kind of thing is your bag it seems well-made.

Louie on FX at 10:00pm ET.

Genevieve Burgess hopes all of you had a nice long weekend and took some time to remember.
