Gotham on Fox at 8:00pm ET. The subtitle for this season is now “Wrath of the Villains”, but I swear it was “Rise of the Villains” when it started. Have they figured out that no one watching Gotham cares that much or are they trying desperately to put some kind of story line on by throwing a bunch of villains at Gotham while Batman’s still waiting out his growth spurt? Because watching bad guys twiddle their thumbs for the next ten years seems less than thrilling.

Supergirl on CBS at 8:00pm ET. I know sometimes people complain about how the Marvel movie people don’t really seem to talk too much to the Marvel TV people, but there can’t be a bigger divide in tone and content than there is with the DC properties. Supergirl appears to be a charming, lighthearted romp starring that girl who wasn’t entirely annoying on Glee!, while Batman vs. Superman is apparently hours worth of dark, gritty, nihilistic angst.

The Magicians on SyFy at 9:00pm ET.

RuPaul’s Drag Race on Logo at 9:00pm ET.

Better Call Saul on AMC at 10:00pm ET.
