Gotham on Fox at 8:00pm ET. So what stage of adolescent development is Bruce Wayne experiencing this season? Has he hit peak annoying self-absorbed shit a la Harry Potter in Order of the Phoenix?

Minority Report on Fox at 9:00pm ET.

Whose Line Is It Anyway on The CW at 9:00pm ET. 11th season fall finale.

Blindspot on NBC at 10:00pm ET. Criminals on TV always seem to put a lot more work into taunting cops by giving them clues to solve their crimes instead of, you know, gloating quietly to themselves that they’ve gotten away clean with a bunch of crimes. I understand that it creates a somewhat compelling device to frame a story, but I always sit there wondering “Why are you TRYING to get caught? Isn’t this the time to take all your murder money, buy a new identity and retire to a lovely Pacific island?” But perhaps I am missing some crucial parts of the super villain handbook.

Castle on ABC at 10:01pm ET. The only thing I find less credible that criminals actively taunting cops on the regular is all the cops/cop adjacent people willing to waste time and energy on riddles instead of going “you know, someone this focused on communicating a message in morse code using pieces of human bone as dots and dashes probably got sloppy with their trace evidence somewhere around here. Let’s focus on that.”
