Hard to Kill on Discovery at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is kind of like Dirty Jobs in that the host goes around the country exploring dangerous jobs; but the host is not Mike Rowe, which makes it inherently inferior to Dirty Jobs.

Making It on NBC at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is a new reality series hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman featuring “makers” crafting projects of increasing difficulty. The least successful is eliminated each week until the final two showdown in a “craft off.” All this sounds very gentle and positive. Not sure why it’s on at 10 at night, maybe there’s some gentle and positive swearing.
