America’s Next Top Model on Vh1 at 8:00pm ET. 24th season premiere. This show has been on since I was in college and I’m kind of impressed, and also goddamnit, it’s been a long time since I was in college. I thought television was supposed to distract us from our impending doom, not reinforce the fact that many many more years have gone by than you realized until you sat down and thought about it.

Fresh Off the Boat on ABC at 8:30pm ET.

Major Crimes on TNT at 9:00pm ET. Series finale. Awww, I won’t get to see promos for this and exclaim ‘DETECTIVE LAURA ROSLIN!’ to the startled inhabitants of my living room anymore. The inhabitants of my living room will be so happy.

This is Us on NBC at 9:00pm ET. Second season winter premiere.

Undercover High on A&E at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. Seven young adults go “undercover” in a Kansas high school to figure out what it’s like to be a teenager. Except, presumably, these adults still get to go home to their adult lives. So really, it’s just a less entertaining and probably more depressing version of Never Been Kissed.
