Dancing With the Stars on ABC at 8:00pm ET.
Teen Mom OG: Teen Mom OG Season 6B Catch Up Special on MTV at 9:00pm ET. So at what point in the reality show continuum do we admit that these are not “regular people” anymore? Because these women are now into their sixth season of television, so I’m pretty sure this is how they’re making their primary living, so they’re kind of actresses. Not especially good ones, obviously, but this isn’t a “slice of life” show anymore either. My other question is how much mileage MTV gets out of a few weeks worth of filming because I’m starting to understand why reality series are considered so lucrative.
Better Call Saul on AMC at 10:00pm ET. Third season premiere.
Help My Yelp on Food Network at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. I am also impressed by the ability of reality show producers to take exactly the same concept, slap a new name and host on it every few years, and act like it’s new. It is possible that I’m wrong, I have no intention of actually watching the show to find out.
Angie Tribeca on TBS at 10:30pm ET. Third season premiere.
