The Simpsons on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Tonight is the “Treehouse of Horror” episode, which seems a bit early, we’re still about two weeks away from Halloween. There’s a whole other Sunday happening before it. But I guess we have to get a move on with all the Halloween specials (this is not the only one happening tonight, Brooklyn Nine-Nine has theirs too) so we can make a condescending nod in the direction of Thanksgiving before starting Christmas Season which is beginning to eclipse fall altogether. Seriously, fall people, can you work to give your preferred season a little breathing room? I’m not a fan of pumpkin spice lattes, but can we keep the hype up until at least mid-November to help push back on the red and green army? And I do mean push back, I don’t need to see pumpkin flavored beer coming out in the beginning of August. That’s just against nature.
Madam Secretary on CBS at 8:00pm ET.
The Good Wife on CBS at 9:00pm ET. Start your Kalinda Countdown and begin editing together those YouTube tribute videos now so they’re all ready by the end of the season.
Homeland on Showtime at 9:00pm ET.
The Walking Dead on AMC at 9:00pm ET. This season started off with a bang, so lets see how they get the gang into a holding pattern that can be resolved in an exciting way just in time for the mid-season finale!
Genevieve Burgess is annoyed by Christmas up until after Thanksgiving weekend. Society has no place for her.
