5 Shows After Dark: Just Give Him the Oscar Now and Be Done With It
The Amazing Race on CBS at 8:00pm ET. Two hour 23rd season finale.
Sunday Night Football: Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints on NBC at 8:20pm ET. I feel bad for these guys, because the most entertaining football of the day has already happened. There’s no way whatever happens here tops watching players attempt to football in a solid six inches of snow.
Bonnie & Clyde on History, Lifetime, and A&E at 9:00pm ET. Part one of two. That’s an interesting cross section of potential viewers if you take into account the regular programming on those channels. They’re trying to nab people whose tastes run the gamut from Mother May I Sleep with Danger?, to Duck Dynasty, to documentaries on WWII. I hope it works out well for them.
Oprah’s Next Chapter: Idris Elba, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Michael B. Jordan on OWN at 9:00pm ET. It’s a good night to be an appreciator of great actors who are fine as hell. Get your DVRs set.
Treme on HBO at 9:00pm ET.
Genevieve Burgess might actually have to watch Oprah’s new show for the first time.
