A Night of TV for Your Least Favorite Older Relative, With One Big Exception
American Ninja Warrior on NBC at 8:00pm ET.
Dietland on AMC at 9:00pm ET. First season finale.
Jill & Jessa: Counting On on TLC at 9:00pm ET. Two-hour 8th season premiere. In case you were wondering if TLC is still bankrolling religious fundamentalists who are almost certainly harboring political ambitions; yes. Yes they are.
Blood Money on History at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is a new reality series where an estate planner goes out to see if the “millenials of today” can handle the work of running the family business. You know, since we matured into a massive economic collapse that’s hampered our ability to grow and thrive in our careers, along with student loan debt that means we don’t have much money to save or invest, and this is our fault. Basically, it sounds insulting to everyone involved, but also I find it hard to feel bad for anyone on any side of this equation.
Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story on Paramount and BET at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is a new series about the aftermath of the murder of Trayvon Martin, and the development of the Black Lives Matter movement.
