Supergirl on The CW at 8:00pm ET.
Jane the Virgin on The CW at 9:00pm ET. I hear this show is currently tackling having a young female protagonist, who is understood to be a good and moral character, exhibit unashamed lust. This also means that we can add this to the list of “shows which have wandered increasingly far from their original titles” but I suspected that would be the case when the show started. Or I hoped it would be, for Jane’s sake.
Better Call Saul on AMC at 10:00pm ET.
Mommy Dead and Dearest on HBO at 10:00pm ET. 90-minute special presentation. So this story is both incredibly sad and incredibly bizarre, Dee Dee Blanchard presented her daughter as terminally ill and younger than she was for years until Gypsy Rose Blanchard conspired with a boyfriend to kill her mother. The details of how deep the lies went and how twisted around Gypsy herself was about what was true and what wasn’t are all incredibly sad and baffling. But I know a bunch of you are big true crime fans and this should be right up your alley.
Angie Tribeca on TBS at 10:30pm ET.
