Jack Bauer Would've Tortured His Way to Better Ratings if He Had To or Was Given an Excuse To
24: Legacy on Fox at 8:00pm ET. First season finale. I don’t see any news about this getting renewed but when the stakes are always “the main character and his whole family are going to get killed and also the United States is under attack” I guess a renewal announcement is basically a spoiler. “Hey, you know how you’re waiting to see if everyone dies? Well, they won’t. But you still have to watch to find out HOW they won’t!” But also it hasn’t been performing super-well in the ratings, so maybe it’s not really coming back and Fox is learning that rebooting series that have been off the air for years isn’t a formula for success *looks pointedly at Prison Break 2: Full Body Tattoo Boogaloo.*
2 Broke Girls on CBS at 9:30pm ET. Sixth season finale. So, did they ever get together enough money to quit the diner and open a cupcake shop or did the show accurately track the bust of the cupcake trend? Or just give up on that plot entirely in favor of other contrivances to keep the two titular girls in those hideous diner uniforms?
Bates Motel on A&E at 10:00pm ET.
Better Call Saul on AMC at 10:00pm ET.
Angie Tribeca on TBS at 10:30pm ET.
