"It's True, I'm Not Watching You, Ladies of London"
Whose Line Is It Anyway on The CW at 8:00pm ET. Apparently the guest tonight is Rob Gronkowski, a man I find funny but not in the way that you’re supposed to be funny for Whose Line. Like, he’s the human embodiment of a golden retriever; good-looking, muscular, generally affable, but just a bit too dim to see clearly apparent danger as he barrels towards it at full speed. I don’t see him being particularly good at improv comedy, but perhaps the other comedians will manage to put him to good use.
American Ninja Warrior on NBC at 9:00pm ET.
Hoarders: Where Are They Now? on Lifetime at 9:00pm ET. Special presentation. I’m sure the producers have done their best to cherry-pick this, but as someone with a few hoarders in her family I’m betting this is going to be pretty bleak overall. Not that Hoarders isn’t already bleak, but it’s somehow worse to go back to people whose lives were supposed to have changed and find them sitting in a pile of magazines and garage sale merchandise all over again.
Ladies of London on Bravo at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. I could use this space here to tell you about the latest of Bravo’s reality series focusing on women of means who apparently thrive on petty conflict and buckets of lipgloss, but I’m busy rewriting “Ladies of Tampa” from Magic Mike for this series so I’ll get back to you with a synopsis later.
Louie on FX at 10:00pm ET.
