Madiba: Part 3 “Brains Not Blood” and “A New World” on BET at 8:00pm ET. Original mini-series finale.

The Magicians on SyFy at 9:00pm ET.

Doubt on CBS at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is how Katherine Heigl is getting back on TV. I’ve never felt the level of hatred or contempt for her as some of my friends here at Pajiba. I feel like there’s a lot of male stars who are praised for being as critical and dismissive of the movies and TV shows that they’re in as she was of Knocked Up and Grey’s Anatomy, and she was RIGHT about her character’s arc on Grey’s, but that’s neither here nor there. She’s joined by Steven Pasquale, who most recently played a racist cop in The People vs. OJ Simpson, and Laverne Cox of all of our hearts. It’s a legal drama on CBS, so I don’t expect many of you are super excited about it.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia on FXX at 10:00pm ET.

Legion on FX at 10:00pm ET. A fun thing that I realized after I watched the premiere episode is that every single thing I’d seen of the show so far came from just that first episode. Every moment in the trailers, every promo image, everything in the commercials, all of it was in the very first episode. This means we have 0 clues as to where Hawley is taking us. I’m super excited about that. It’s gonna be great.
